Compatibility: Not all editing software accepts every 4K format. Step 1: Import Your 4K Video Launch Cheetah Video Converter on your computer. Click the Add Files button in the top left corner. Select your heavy 4K video file from your local storage. Drag-and-drop works too for a faster workflow. Step 2: Choose Your Output Format Navigate to the Profile or Output Format dropdown menu. Select the Video tab to view available formats. Choose MP4 or MKV for the best balance of quality and size.
Select the HEVC (H.265) codec, which shrinks files better than standard H.264. Step 3: Adjust Settings for Compression Click the Settings gear icon next to your chosen format.
